I have a long stretch of driveway wiht 35 rose bushes, its too hot and dry for them so I have pulled up every alternate one and want to replace witha plant better suited to our climate ((South Australia, hot and dry) What would be a good plant to alternate with the roses and maybe protect them a bit, I was thinking lavander/rosemary??????

I like Kincaid and Thomasville, but I have no idea what other brands have similar quality and design. I don't want to trot around to all kinds of different stores finding out what I like. It would be nice to just browse their websites and figure out what I like, then go to a showroom to see in person. Any ideas?

hi....i want to change my showerhead, but i can't, for the life of me, unscrew it. i've tried with 2 wrenches and it doesn't even budge. i think i've even scraped up the side of the nut because it's too tight. it looks like there is a white seal in the threads. any advice on how to get this darn thing off? thanks in advance.

We are renters, that live paycheck-to-paycheck, so unfourtunately we have to budget accordingly...

We're just trying to figure out an inexpensive way to refurbish (?) our tub that we think is a steel attached to the wall standard tub with a porcelain veneer.

We're trying to fix rust and general stains to the tub as well as chips to the porcelain (some quite large). Any help?

We have old marble that has really yellowed and we can't afford to change it out or paint it. It has blueish hues in it and is like a creamy, yellowish, light orangy, whitish color swirled with some bluish/violetish colors.
We are having a problem picking out floor and wall color, and fixture style and color.
Any suggestions?

I once knew a guy that was a proffesional dishwasher. I went by his house one evening and he was washing his own dishes and singing and happy. He loved to wash dishes. Have you ever actually enjoyed this? Not I.

I really want to buy really comfortable sheets like in luxury hotels. Any thread count or brand which is well known? I also would rather have a blanket instead of a comforter? Is this odd? These "bed in a bag" items seem to have the most ridiculous colors, especially for a single guy. I want to get something which would not turn off a woman, something solid? I went to Bed Bath & Beyond and they had so many things it was confusing. FYI: I have a studio apartment where the bed will be seen by anyone coming into the apartment, if that matters. Any help would be welcome. Thanks!

My water heater is draining water nightly. It seems to occur more frequently and is louder than normal. Could it be that it is the summer time and I am not using as much hot water as I would in the winter? It is a gas (not electric) water heater.

I read that the heater does it if the water gets too hot. How can I tell that the reason it is draining is OK or when should I start to worry?

Thanks!
