I have used ant killer on the ones that I see but then more keep turning up. The problems getting so bad that the birds are flying down to eat them. If I block the holes in the wall (they are just below the windowframe) will they find other ways out, I don't want them to start coming from the walls on the inside. Any suggestions ?

Morning all,

I'm from Madison,WI. A few months ago I posted about having a roach problem. The roaches are showing back up,even after the landord and handyman sprayed all of the areas where they'd show up. I am trying the boric acid part now here as we speak. I want to know what are the best ways to prevent roaches from showing back up in apartment ?

Thank for your time and help with this.

I had a friend years ago who had a wormery.

All I remember is the waste product from the worms (the brown stuff) was used as fertilizer for the garden.

Does or has anyone tried this and if so how are they made up?

How do you start up one of these?

We are going back and forth on this. One day we vote patio the next day its deck. I always loved patios. I think of decks as needing constant maintenance. Pressure washing, staining, treating. But my husband always had decks. He thinks patios are difficult to put in. And the idea of concrete being possibly used even as a base is terrible to him. Even pavers seem too sloppy. And of course, cost is quite important. Any ideas? Want to have this done by fall. Help!

i was on my computer a few hours ago and i turned and saw a big one on the side of my bed, it crawled around the from before i could do anything and when i came back with raid and moved the mattress it wasn't there, it probably moved under the bed cause thats the only dark place. i turn the light off and left for an hour to see if it would come out but i came back and looked around and think its still there. so now i have a roach living under my bed and i cant sleep. anyone know a way i can scare it out or get to it without emptying the entire can of raid under the bed?

Hello,

Currently I have a wild chili (chile de monte) and I want to get more so how do I plant the chili heres what I have heard and I guess know

Step1: Dry the chili (how long?)

Step2: Put chili on ziplock bag with wet paper to increase seed growing

Step3: Put in small containers with holes on bottom for water drainage

Step4: Wait for them to grow and later move them outside

Am I right or what else do I have to do to plant them??

Hello,

Okay I heard you can clone a plant but dont know all the details can somebody give me the steps here is what I got and I dont even know if they are right

Step1: Cut a stem of a branch at a 45* degree angle
Step2: Put in a water bucket with water
Step3: Wait until roots come out
Step4: Move the plant to the ground and now just wait for growing.

So if anyone knows about this please help me out with these questions

How long until the stem grows roots?

In what do I dip the stem when I recently cut before putting it on water?

I need to grow a beautiful flower for a project I am doing. My limit is about 6 months, and I live in Bahrain, which is EXTREMELY hot/humid weather, especially in the summer which gets to about 40 degrees Celcius at its hottest. I can grow inside though.. but have any idea on which beautiful flower is the easiest and fastest to grow? I heard a rose can take up to a year :(

I maintain the front of both houses, but I'm not good at it...basically I remove all the weeds, trim the bushes, and remove any trash. The problem that we're having with the houses is that the "dirtpatches" are on an incline and over many years the dirt continues to fall onto the sidewalk whenever it rains...especially if it rains hard and then I have to go clean that up too. I was planning on laying sod to make both sides look a lot better, but I need a DIY project that is relativly simple so I can build a small wall or barrier or whatever it's called to keep the dirt where it belongs. What is there is not working well at all. I don't mind working hard...I would just like it to look relatively nice and inexpensive would be just as good. When you see the pic of my house(it's the one with the ridiculously big bush...check out the house on the right...I don't want it to come out looking as horrible as their makeshift patio. Thanks so much.
