Im trying to find the right colors to flow with the burnt orange wall that I have in the dinning room. I would like to bring the color through the living room on through the hallway and the bedrooms to the side.
Can random colors just be used in the various bedrooms or is it a must that they all flow. My furniture is all chocolate brown and modern accents from the urban type stores.

Somebody left a damn can of soda in my car. With the heat, the thing exploted and now ants are crowling all over the place. What's a good way to kill all these ants without spraying insecticide all over the dashboard?

I was wondering how I could make a portable stage (10 ft X 10ft) that could support around 8 people at a time. It needs to be easy to transport and get out of the way, meaning it can't be too heavy, but the platform needs to be made out of wood (preferably)

Here's my problem: I think a queen bumble bee is digging a hole in my backyard for her nest. I watched her for about five minutes and she kept coming up and going down into the hole. But I can't tell if she's a queen or if it's a worker. I also have cats. And I'm wondering if this is a nest what the heck I should do - I don't want to kill it.
Queen or worker?
Let be or kill?

There is a specific name for the long row of windows that are above a barn door. Can anybody refresh our memory? They were/are more common on older barns.

As I said the units are walnut with long silver handles. The appliances are silver. The worktops are black marble. All the accessories are silver/black, so I feel the walls need a colour to compliment the kitchen. I'm not keen on anything too dramatic because it's not very big. Just something subtle. Also, do you think it's strange to have framed pictures in a kitchen?

O.k. so I'm renting an older house turned into an apartment building and a friend of mine went into the attic and fell through the ceiling (after we told him not to) he's going to help us pay for a fix it but we're not sure how to go about doing it. The hole is probably 3ft long and 1 ft. wide and it looks like its drywall. I thought maybe get a large peice of drywall cut it, nail it to the beams in the attic and then blend it into the rest of the ceiling with some kind of putty. Its a drywall ceiling with no texture. I've been reading about having to get mesh tape and boards with holes in it, frankly i'm confused with so much information out there. Is anyone who has done this before and had it be a success? Or any BEST way of doing it?

My tomato plants are done for the year. I pulled out the remaining plants. Now, I get little mushrooms popping up in the container. Can I save the soil for future use?

Okay, my cat was swatting at a bumblebee and now the bee can't fly very well. I took a look at it to see if I should kill it and put it out of it's misery, but it was doing something weird after it found out it couldn't fly - it was digging a hole and going into it like a mole. What is going on here - should I kill it? Is it going underground to heal and come out later? Answer quickly please!
