I live in a condo, and I know that normally for common walls you would need 5/8" drywall for fire resistance, but I am buying greenboard for the bathtub area and I'm finding it hard to find 5/8" greenboard, I can only seem to find 1/2", is it okay to use that??

The tree/shrub has a reddish bark and has blackish berries on it. The berries are smaller than a pearl and start off tiny and green. The flowers start off white and soft but when the berries fall off, the flowers turn red/purpleish and become hard.

My roommate is a smoker and she's moving out in 2 months. My boyfriend and I want to give the apartment a total cleaning from the top down. Since she has the master bedroom now, and smokes in there, I want to be sure to completely get rid of any trace of smoke on the walls, in the carpet and windows?

I am lokoing for some suggestions on the best vacuums for a house with a dog that sheds CONSTANTLY. The fur keeps clogging my upright, so I think I am going to go with a canister vac, however, I do not want to spend a lot of money. Any thoughts.

ust want to compare my cleaning routine to everyone else out there. How often do you clean these please:

Kitchen worktops
Toilet
Bathroom including all accessories
Mop floors
Carpets
Pollish furniture such as tv unit etc
Oven and hob
fride
hoover your carpets and flooring

I always clean my work surfaces daily, my toilet around every 3 days, although i put bleach down daily, i clean my whole bathroom around every 3 days too.
I mop my wooden floors around every 2-3 days, i hoover all floors and carpets daily sometimes more than once a day, although not always upstairs everyday.
I clean my carpets not oo often at th moment but usually every couple of months.
I pollish around every 2 days. I clean my fride not very often unfortunately around every couple of months it gets a thorough clean. My oven i clean not too often but my hob usually daily or every 2 days.
Do you think my cleaning routine is ok? Taking into consideration that i have 2 young girls and im also pregnant.

I have an 1800 sqft manufactured home that I purchased new about 5 yrs ago. I have two boys and we live on a ranch so I ripped the carpet out and put down a pine floor. I'm not happy with the pine floor as I want to get away from the country look and get something more modern looking. I like tile but that sounds expensive. Any help would be appreciated!

If not, why not? I was surprised how many people who are flooded out dont have home insurance and it made me want to ask people if they do. I cant imagine not having it. I have been burgled, had a fire and a mirror shatter over my entire lounge dining room to total of £50,000 worth of damage. I'd have been stuffed without it.

Just want sum tips on cleaning a toothbrush holder, its one of those with holes in for the toohbrushes and you cant get inside of it as it doesnt have a lid. I usually just fill it with hot water and all purpose cleaner, leave for a while and then rinse out, but if you look inside closely I can still see dirt at the bottom of the holder which i cant get into. My grandfather gave me some flower seeds that looked like little black pepper corns. The have grown about 12 inches tall, so far, and have long pointy leaves, thick circular stems with buds growing off the stems. Also, the bottom of the stems are purplish while the rest is green. A few have produced fuschia colored flowers and others are hot pink. The flowers look similiar to snapdragon flowers but are more open. Any ideas what this plant might be?

Okay, this isn't really a question, but I have the perfect soap recipie in history! Okay, there are many combinations, but I'm just going to give you two. All you need is an empty soap bottle container, a regular contanier, or anything you use that is empty for soap. (pump works best) Also, for the ingredients, you will need Funny Color Foam soap(found at your nearest walmart or target) (no specific color, but you can custimize.), any color and fragrance Frebreeze(no Lysol or Oust, only Frebreeze) and Softsoap foam soap. Oh, and you'll need a spoon. Here's how to make it: Shake up the Frebreeze can, Softsoap foam, and Funny color foam soap until you can barely hear their contents. Then spray the desired amount of Funny color foam soap into the container. Then, take the Frebreeze can and spray the can into the container until the funny color foam soap top of the foam is coated with Frebreeze. Then, take the Softsoap foam soap and pump it over the Frebreeze until you can't see

Mr. Lucky had won a lottery and he decided to make a nice bungalow with all marble flooring. The contractor assured him that he had used the best marbles. But Mr. lucky was not that impressed – the flooring was not that smooth. He was expecting a glass finish. The contractor told him that he had left it rough purposely or else one can slip on a glass smooth surface, especially in the bath rooms when it gets wet.

If Mr. Lucky consults you what will be your advice? Insist for a glass smooth finish or accept the rough finish; in either case he don’t have to pay the contractor any thing extra – it is all covered in the original contract. Though, he doesn’t have anything left now to pay you any consultation, please be generous; it at all he happens to slip down, he can’t even afford the medical expenses!
Note: There is no pun or hidden twist. Marble (bath room) flooring should be smooth finished or rough finished to make it less slippery? nb nair

I repotted my poinsetta in decemeber and it is growing great! However it is only growing leaves on one side, the side facing towards the the doors. I have the plant in an office and it gets plenty of light from the floursecent bulbs, but the plant is only growing leaves towards the real sunlight. Should I turn my plant around? Or leave it alone? I am kind of suprised it is still alive since Decemeber?

I'm moving to Florida next fall. I know that's a long way away, but I'm a planner and I can't stop thinking about it. Anyway, I love to work in the garden, but I'm moving into an apartment because that's all I can afford. How can I work both in? I mean, I can't plant a garden in the apartment complex. Any ideas?
