Box turtle 'terrapin' problem?

How can I trap or evict a box turtle from my tomato patch"?If it ate only one that would be O.K. but the acursed thing samples every tomato in the garden!

Is it evasive or something. I would just pick it up and take it somewhere else like a wooded area or a pond or lake. You can try trapping it, but you may have better luck going out in the dark with a flash light.
