I bought a lady's slipper orchid in March, It was in bloom and stayed in bloom for a long time. These was also a small shoot with a flower bud from the original plant. after the second blossom faded I cut it and waited for about a month before I divided the plants. right now both plants have small shoots coming out but they are both limp and look dry in spite of my daily spray of water. Will they survive?

We have 3 ceiling fixtures in our kitchen (2 ceiling fans & 1 light fixture). We are trying to install a pull chain switch in 1 above the sink where you can turn it off & on with chain & the other 2 can stay on to keep the fans running. We have a white & black wire coming out of ceiling & 2 white wires & 2 black wires on the light fixture itself & now that we added the pull chain switch, we have 2 black wires coming from it. How do we connect these all together to make this work right? We tried once & it appears we did something wrong because the lights are very dim & just don't look like they should for their wattage. Please help!

The walls are a very light blue. The previous owner actually used white paint and mixed very light (lighter than Carolina Blue) blue to get this color. The bookcase is black and the entertainment armoir is very dark brown/almost black like ebony color. There's one chair already in the den and it's a brown "papa-san," chair with a deep red/ magenta cushion. The floors are light colored bamboo hard wood. What color love seat or sofa could fit this scheme?

Ok I have 4 acers of land I own. It will be built in a small city about 45 mins outside of Hattiesburg,MS. My husband works for a brick company so we'll get a discount there. But I want a round about cost for everything. From hired help to the people who draw up the plans to the inside and all being done and ready to live in. I don't want anything fancy just a basic 2 or 3 bedroom house. I have 15,000 and don't know if that's enough or if I should wait and save up more. I do not want to take out loans wanna pay cash for everything.

The (3) pine trees are just barely in my yard between my neighbors home and mine, and these trees were planted well before the homes were built ( actually cleared away) by the builder, I suppose some 25 yrs ago. It's clear that (1) tree root are going under his driveway and has cracked it. He says I need to cut them down so it doesn't crack his foundation. I asked if he would go halves and he said no, there in your yard not mine, and this needs to be done ASAP.
I told him that it would be cheaper to go halves than to pay some $40K in foundation repairs.
My claim is, I didn't plant the trees and the trees were there when we both our homes. Legally, do I have to flip the bill on this all alone since they are in my yard?
