I'm not really into killing flies, but sometimes they bother me. Is there an effective way to trap them so that they can be released outside later on?

Is it considered a waste of money or not attractive? I'm thinking it would save on the consumption of water and would be very convenient.

I have recently moved to NE Florida from the VA/NC area and have been looking to buy cedar mulch and it seems they do not sell it here. They have cypress, hardwood, and that gawd awfull dyed stuff.I have inquied at nurseries, Lowes, Home Depot and the only answer I get to why they don't sell it is...I don't know they just don't sell it. Why? If anyone has a clue to this mystery I sure would like to know.

I hate using soap after it gets soooo small and thin, but I have so many of those little pieces now, does anyone know the best way to get them to become one big piece of soap again??? I tried squeezing them together, but they still fall apart, this would save me a lot of money too

I have little, tiny brown bugs in my room and when I showed someone, they said it was probably gnats. Can gnats jump?

They previously had been thought to be fleas until I showed this person and they said it was gnats.

Right now we have sand in between each stone and it is a mess. The sand will not stay in place and the patio does not look complete. My husband wants to fill it in with grout- saying that mortar or concrete will be way too hard since it is a thin distance between each paver. Do you think grout will work? Any other advice?
THANKS! :-)

A cloth bag was left in the sun on a carpet, and the sun melted the crayon through the bag.

This year was my Lupins first year. They were a terrible crop (if you like)! I cut them back today and found the stems were lived in by woodlice. Why did they do this and how can I stop this for next years flowers?

We have a chandelier in our home which has glass shades/bowls and I want to make it a little contemporary by putting shades. I can't sit the shades directly on the convex shaped bulbs, can I?

I've been trying to have garage sale to eliminate excess clutter, but many people that stop act like you should put FREE on everything and constantly offer you about 10% of the asking price. It's already cheap enough - like a 12-place setting dinnerware for $20!!! One guy selected a crystal beverage set (24 lovely stemmed goblets) which I had marked $5 and held out his hand. I said "It's five dollars." Then he said "Yeah, so where's the five?" It appeared he expected me to PAY him $5 to take it off my hands. Such affrontery! I'm really getting soured on garage sales.
