I recently bought a new shower and i fitted it to the existing plumbing where the previous shower was, however when i went to test it for the first time it ran for a few minutes then started to leak from the pressure release valve at the back of the unit, the instructions say it does this if theres too much pressure. Anyone know what i can i do to fix it without paying for a plumber unless its my only option. thanks for any advice.

I have an empty Mini-bow 2.5 gallon aquarium, it measures approx. 11.5 inches wide, 10.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches deep with a bowed front. What kind of plants can I put in it and how do I take care of it. I tried a micro terrarium in a 1.4 gallon glass fish bowl, but my cat knocked it off the table and broke it. I was thinking of venus Fly traps, which I can get at a few stores around my area, what else could I put in it with the fly traps? I know like, Pitcher Plants and stuff, but does anyone know of other plants? Also, would a regular flourescent light bulb be good or do I have to get a plant one because it will be hard to find a plant bulb to fit this tank but I found a "Sunlight" bulb that fits perfectly. It grows aquarium plants well, but what about terrestrial plants? If anyone has a terrarium made from a Mini-bow 2.5 could you send me a link to pictures of it or describe it to me? Thanks a lot.

I grow it in a pot, full sun. Is it too much sun? I read somewhere that variegated plants react to the amount of direct light but don't remember if variegation became more marked with more sun, or the opposite. Do you know?

I recently bought a Juicy Couture (velour) Binder, and I want to keep it from being stolen. I've thought about getting a permanent marker and writting my name, but it would bleed through on the other side. Is their some type of sticker that can't be removed that I could put on the inside of it? Please no mean answers.

Recently I wanted to re-do my kitchen so I painted the cabinets and the walls. It looks okay, but the cabinets turned out more pink than maroon (like I wanted), and the walls are extremely more yellow (like the sun). I wanted more of a maroon, but not too dark, and the yellow was supposed to be slightly more pale than it is. Any suggestions with decorating so I don't have to repaint so soon?

I will be painting again this winter I suppose, but for now I need to "tone it down" a little. Thanks to all!

The hole is about half the size of a dime (Canadian) and sits nearly at the top of the pipe. The pipe is between the toilet flange and the cast iron T in the wall. The lead pipe is approx. 6" long and 4" in diameter. I would love to be able to replace it but finances say "Not Likely". Anyone have any suggestions?

I have purchased a REPLACEMENT bladder tank for my residential well, and the instruction sheet says I should install a pressure relief valve. The EXISTING system does not have a separate one, except for the T & P valve on the water heater.

Insofar as the water heater shares the same pressures in the system, is this one valve all that is required?

The new tank is rated for a 125 psi working pressure maximum, and I intend to use the system with a 40 - 60 psi pressure switch.

The T & P relief on the water heater has a tag showing 150 psi.

Your help will be appreciated.

The infestation of moths (1/4 inch long fluttery things) began about 4 weeks ago and steadily has increased. I believe it was in the 3 bags of various bird seeds that were near the large bird cage. How long does the seed need to be frozen to kill all stages of the moth/caterpillar/eggs?

Will it even work?
Thanks

Does anyone know if it's possible or have ever tried to paint brushed nickel to say a bronzed/aged iron like texture? I'm looking to save money so instead of buying all new light fixtures was hoping that it'd be possible to paint them.
Thanks for any advise. Can't seem to find anything w/an online search.
