I practically dumped half the bottle of the removal lotion for the wax on the carpet and still didn't bother to come off.

About how much is your electric, gas, and water bills? If I heat with wood during the winter (living in Michigan), how much will I need, and how much will that cost? If I heat with gas how much will that be? I'll be getting married soon and we're trying to set up a budget. Thanks a bunch! (I live in the US so please give US $ amounts)

I'm trying to declutter our house but my other half keeps bringing more yard sale/second-hand shop junk home and leaving it all over the place. Other than that, he's a totally PERFECT husband. :) Any suggestions on how to curb his pack rat tendencies?

I know you are not to attach the laminate to the floor underneath. So what is the best way to allow for the pivots and brackets for the bifold doors? Do you just cut around? Has anyone found any ideas that not only work but also look good?

Hey everybody. I'm looking for opinions on what would be the best vacuum cleaner for my family.
It's me and my husband, 3 kids, a pair of Great Danes, and I breed Great Pyrenees so when it's whelping time the girls stay in the house for a few months then too.
I'll be making a new rule when we get moved into our new house that nobody can wear shoes in the house....But with all that hair we're still going to beed a really good vacuum. It seems like no matter what brand I get, it's our vacuums die in a year or two.
I'm pretty picky about keeping a clean house. I don't mind paying a high price tag as long as it's going to survive and do a good job.
Thanks guys!

My husband and I are fixing up a old farm house.....I'm not really sure what color or colors I should paint my kitchen. I need some advice...I don't want to go to dark or to bright but I do want a change. The walls are a light mint green color and the cupboards are white right now. It needs to be updated, but I'm not sure what colors to use.

I was outside mowing and bumped the water hose faucet pvc, hence I had a massive water leak. We shut off the main valve in the front yard and repaired the pvc. All faucets work in the house and there is no longer a leak. The bath tub faucet in the master bath no longer works - we only shut off that 1 valve. The shower works and both sinks and toilets in the master work. The pvc that was busted is outside where the main supply feeds into the house. My husband is out of town working and I would like to know if there are any suggestions on the tub faucet. The friends that fixed it suggested it got clogged somehow? any ideas would be great!!!
