there is a cleaner called "the works" im from wv and i lived with rust water my whole life. this stuff takes it off instantly and its cheap.

I put tylex in my old tub and I got a lot of rust spots. I grabbed the peroxide (i don't know why) but it got rid of the rust sports.
See if it works, it's inexpensive $.50.

Try some Iron Out and a srub pad, Be sure to wear gloves. Try and use some car wax to seal the area after it dries.

try toilet bowl cleaner you have to use a lot but it saves alot of time on scrubbing.
