The dogs are both large, my back yard is 1/3 acre, I'm looking for whatever treatments might save my lawn from becoming a dirt-pit with worm dog paths. I love the dogs very much and do not plan to get rid of them, I would rather find methods of fixing my lawn instead. Thank you to all who provide serious and helpful replies.

I want to build a deck on the back of the house. It will be about 30" from the ground. I've thought about wooden piers and cinder block piers.
In addition I have ideas about something beneath the deck to prevent weeds from growing there.

Right now ,the rough opening is 34 inches . Since I,m going to size that door to 36 inches . Do I need additional jack studs (two for each side and supported by wood block)or just two will be enough with the king suds.
The house is 10 years .

As a matter of fact, I can,t tell whether the type of frame is platform or balloon . the house is 3 store level

Also can I replace one of the top plate since it has a signicant damage(the one that sit t above the criple stud.

Probably a strange question....

I have a lot of grime on my black stove top that I can't seem to get off. I've tried soaking it and wiping away, repeating the steops, and still, no real head way. I know WD-40 is great for removing grease, grime, adhesives, etc, but is it safe to also use on a gas stove top? The can label doesn't quite say if it's safe, only states to keep THE CAN away from heat, sparks, pilot lights, etc.

Anyone know if this is safe? And if not, can you make a suggestion as to what to use? I've tried and tried, am selling my home and preparing for showing, and certainly don't want a dirty stove top to stand in my way of closing.

Thanks in advance!

Firstly, When i've loaded it up, I have to put the tablet in the diswasher it's self, as the draw for it does not open. This method of cleaning has worked for months(although would like to know y draw doesn't open) but all of a sudden the green light outside has started to flash half way through cycle and the tablet has not gone. Now it won't clean half of my dishes and when the door is opened, smells really horrible!.
Please can somepne help as I love my dishwasher!!! Thanks

I have an area in my backyard that is about 3 feet X 4 feet and it would be perfect for a palm tree (the tree would sit right over my jacuzzi). The area just has decorative gravel right now. I live in Vegas, so palm trees thrive here. Can I have a palm tree put in with that amount of space?

I'm having a baby boy near the end of June and I've decided that I want the nursery to be full of bright and bold colors. Does anyone have ideas as to what the theme could be? I'm going to have to piece things together rather than buy "themed bedding sets" because they are way out of my price range. I'm looking for mostly motifs involving red, black & white.

I have been sewing for 20 odds years and my sister and mother before that and have always been baffled how you can be sewing along and suddenly the needle is no longer threaded yet the thread has not broken and there is no split or anything in the eye of the needle. Any one else have that happen? Or can you explain it?

I am building a workbench. actually 2. But I was wondering what I should make my depth. I have my height and my length figured out one is around 45inches and the other around 32. And both with a height of 37. I want to put casters on them to make them movable and I don't want them to be too top heavy. Most standard benches are around 24 but that seems a little to small. I plan to use it to weld metal on as well as some woodworking. I want it as functional as it is rigid. Any suggestions or engineers that can answer my third grade question would have my thanks as well as my ear. I will edit if you need more info. Thanks for all your answers in advance!
