if your in the uk you might do best by trying the planning department, they may still have plans of your estate, however a lot of records are only kept for 7 years

You should have got a copy of the plat, i.,e., a surveyers outline of the boundaries and deminsions of your property. If you don't have it with your deed or mortgage papers, and settlement sheets that you got when you signed for the property. Check your county zoning officials. A copy of the last time the property was surveyed should be in their offices. Be nice and they may give you a copy.

In my town it would be the City Council Offices, But I keep a copy at home, stamped by the various authorities who had a finger in the building.
It would help if we knew which country you are from.

A copy should be on file with your city's local building and codes department, however, you should know that you do not own the blueprint and don't have rights to copy it.
LOL, yup, it still belongs to the original builder / architect and in many cases the clerk will let you look at it but not to make any reproductions.

are you talking of plans for your house, they will either be with your bank if on a mortgage or your lawyer if owned outwrite
if you need outline plans for border disputes the county planning dept.
if you are talking council house tennant forget it,
