there are 2 pipes coming in 1 is higher than the other other are they both bringing ground water in or does 1 bring it in and the other lets it out. usually are basment gets wet 2x a yr so thats why we want to add the pump hoping this helps. looks like they have caped the pipe to the sewer. but if one of the other pipes brings the water out cant we just hook the pump up and send it out that pipe or should we put it out the wall and into the yard. any suggestions.

How hard was it to build or make?
Did you come up with your own design?
Any tips on this would be appreciated!

I really like Granite Countertops but they are expensive. A friend was telling me she read somewhere about countertops that could be covered with a material that looked like Granite, and was alot cheaper. Does anyone know the name of this kind of covering?

Everythime it rains or snow melts, our backyard becomes a mini pond. The grass barely grows back there now and it is all weedy. We can't mow it because its either wet or the grass and weeds are too high. A friend told me that I should plant a Willow Tree right there because they suck up a lot of water. Which in turn would allow us to mow and have nice grass. Is this true or is there a tree that might be able to live under such conditions and help? Thanks

You see me and my cousin are wicked good friend and since we were kids we always wanted to construct a water slide from his bedroom to his pool in the backyard. The window is facind directly at the pool and is some 50-75 feet away from it. It is on the second floor. This may sound stupid but we may still wand to do it. Where could I order water slide parts like this, is it possible and about how much would it cost?

My garage light, garage door opener, entry light, and front door light are not coming on. I am figuring it is a breaker but I can't locate the breaker. I have switched them all off and on and even did the main breaker but I can't find what breaker it is. Is it possible that it doesn't have a breaker attached to that area and how would I fix that problem?
