Seriously? Household dust is typically comprised of fabric fibers, human/animal dander, and seasonal pollen.

1) People dander: Well not much perhaps but to use an overall body moisturizing lotion. Your skin will still flake off obviously, but will clump better and less likely to fly about the room.
2) Pet dander: Your call.
3) Clothing fibers: Hang your clothes outside. Your dryer beats the heck out of them, as evidenced by what you find in the lint filter. But they sure get soft don't they? Pick it, comfort or clean?
4) Rug fibers: Well you could remove your rugs. The beater bar on a vacuum really helps the vacuum process by lifting the heavier items by the vibrating action. But it is aggressive, and wears the carpet. If you want to keep the rug, buy carpeting with Teflon treatments that help keep it more resilient to the beater bar action. Have everyone remove their shoes at the door.
5) Heating/Air Conditioning: Use quality pleated filters, never those $.89 ones you can see though. Decent ones cost $4 to $9 each, really great Filtretes run $12 to $15. ANother step up is an electronic HEPA unit for your system. This is going to cost $500 to $2500 for the unit alone, plus installation but will do a serious job onremoving junk from the air.
6) Pollen: Don't open you windows if its nice out and also pollen peak season.
7) Vacuum: If you don't have a fancy bagless unit, change your bag when it is 1/4 full, never let it get full. As soon as you start using the bag, the pores begin to plug. The longer its in use the more likely the powerful motor will ultimately force the bag to tear or otherwise begin venting dust back into the home. Centra vacuums would help with this IF they also vent outside.

This is just the start!

taking away dirt is next to no longer plausible. Vacuuming many times helps. right here's an get at the same time in the link of ways a lot dirt accumulates in very few days. Swiffers artwork, wiping with a damp fabric and vacuuming.

Change filters in furnace or A/C once a month...more often if you have pets. Also, you can make smaller filters and place them inside the vents to each room...the new microfilters work wonders. If you don't have a forced air furnace/AC system....then try adding a doormat outside your house to prevent carrying in more dirt.Good Luck!
