How hard was it to build or make?
Did you come up with your own design?
Any tips on this would be appreciated!

A friend of mine built one after her last cat was run over in the neighborhood. Basically she built a frame 6 ft long X 2&1/2ft wide X 3 ft. deep. It fit an area on her lawn that got some sun and some shade. It's basically a rectangular shape. She covered it with square wired fencing, not chicken wire. She also added a hammock using an old towel. The frame was made out of 2X4's.The bottom was open so the cat could lie in the grass.

Smiles, nice idea.

Answer number one is pretty much spot on. The wire/caging should be small enough to allow that the cats cannot get much more than a paw or leg through the mesh, but strong enough to NOT be "nagged" at by a determined cat to break. Certainly there is the issue of the cats safety too.

PUT A ROOF ON IT though,,,smiles.
