Oil fired central heating system, with a feed and return pipe, house bungalow, rads at front of house heat no problems, warm water heats no problems but rads in the three bedrooms only heat a little at the top, flushed rads out, no change and there is a gurgling in the pump and boiler, the three rads that don't heat properly, the feed pipe is roasting but it seems the water can't get throught the rad, all valves open, return from these rads luke warm, I beleive theirs air in the system on the return pipe restricting the flow, but cant shift it no air in the rads

There are no pets. It's just that the yard is very shady. My house blocks the sun from the yard since it’s positioned just to the south. What little sun is above the yard for a short time, is blocked by a large tree. The yard is kind of a strip about 15 feet wide between the house and the tree.

When we moved in we had the yard tilled and seeded. Sprinklers were already installed and working. The seed never worked so we put in sod and followed the gardener’s directions on watering, but it died after 6 months. We have followed up with more seed and fertilizer, but it's now mostly brown again.

Do I have any options other than artificial grass?

For what it's worth, here is a picture:

I cannot seem to get rid of the film on my hardwood floors, it is very frustrating! I have tried Armstrong for Hardwood Floors, Swiffer Wet Jet and Murphy's Oil Soap. I was most displeased with Murphy's because I spent so much time on my hands and knees without the results I wanted. Any suggestions?

I have been advised to use denatured alcohol to stop wood cracking and to improve the finish when turning green wood. However, this seems to be an American term for methylated spirit but when I apply the meths to the wood it seems to discolour it because of the added blue dye. What I need to know is, can purchase meths in the UK, that has not had dye added, or is there another product that would do the same job
