How should I decorate my room now I've had it painted?

Question

My room is the box room so it's quite small ... I've got bright pink walls and wood flooring. Sounds awful, but it looks so cute. I want to do some kind of picture collage and I don't know how to go about it... I was thinking like a 60s rock n roll look .. Any ideas, please?

Oh, and if it helps: In my room I have a wardrobe, a set of draws, a bed with white sheets and squares on it and two shelves .. Yeah, Don't know if that would help.

i suggest u stick old LP's and covers of LP's on the walls maybe even on the roof.

if u want to stick posters and things of that sort i suggest u hang a piece of soft wood (plywood) on the wall, cover it with a soft material (they come in different colours) in order not to mess up the new paint work on the wall.

u may also try spraying the furniture or spraying the handles of the furniture.

Have u ever heard of stenciling? or prints?? u can do that on the walls or even on the furniture unless it is expensive furniture ...
im thinking of star prints (mine are blue on a pistaccia walls and i love them)

i basically suggest u choose another colour with pink
pink and grey looks good but it does not go too well with the rock and roll look
so i tthink ur best option will be pink and black :)

I know this sounds stupid, and you may not like it since it would be covering up your wall...but I look for my favorite pictures, some things I have drawn, medals, team pennants, pieces of old maps, etc. and arrange them along the wall in some sort of collection. Or, you could always put posters up everywhere. If you aren't that sort, i suggest picking a theme that you really like... You said 60's rock n roll? Look for old records and hang them on your wall, or try looking at those stores that sell retro stuff.

I would cover a piece of plywood with white or pale pink felt and trim the edges- like a frame - with black and white polk-dot grosgrain ribbon. The trim could be hot-glued on.

Cut black and white (if you use pink felt for the board) poodles from felt (I'm sure you can find a pattern somewhere!) and dress them up with jeweled collars, bows, and leashes Swirl their leashes (thin cording or narrow ribbon) around, and amongst them add some photos of you and your friends.
