I really need to raise some money and i was hoping for some ideas of some things to make. I can make anything from small furniture to picture frames and jewelry. What's something you would be interested in buying homemade?

If you can do all of that, then why don't you try a few of each items and see what sells then make more of those items. I make these awsome christmas trees out of beads, pins and wire. If I was buying something homemade I look for things that you can't buy anywhere. How about a jewelry box then homemade jewelry to go in it.

i have 10 yrs experience in furniture and in the south we always sell small things best. roll top trunks the box is 2ft. long maybe 1.5ft.tall.also any shelves that are different and painted.we did 1 with birdhouses and painted them all different colors.people loved them!just a basic wooden shelf.then get a 4x8 piece of lauan 1/4 in.thick to use for the birdhouses that you nail on the back.you will also need a butterfly bit on your drill to make the hole to be more realistic.GOOD LUCK with whatever you try!

Purses out of cigar boxes or old jeans is just one of many things that come to mind.
How about visit a local craft or antique mall? That always inspires me. Or pick up some do it yourself decorating magazines, there are always tons of ideas in those.

What about fudge, cookies or pralines? Or birdhouses? I know a guy who makes birdhouses out of drifwood he picks up. Jewelry would be nice too.

well,anything for pets usually sells well.Since you can make furniture,how about fancy beds and couches for cats and dogs?.You can also make jewellery for them,I bought these beautiful beaded necklaces for two of my cats with pedants and all!.You can make dog outfits,harnesses,etc.Here in South Africa there's a girl who designs these stuff and she has made a very profitable business out of it .It's called Pink Trash.
BAsically,I love to buy home made stuff,I prefer to give my money to someone with a dream and tons of guts that to some corporation of fat bosses who run sweatshops

ALL WOMAN LOVE EARRINGS!!! Beads & charms on braclets, & candle sticks are what i like to buy at craft shows. if its too pricey though, i wont buy
