I have tried 'Round up" MANY times, pulled it by hand, raked it and screamed at it........HELP????!!????

Add some lime, start with 1 lb per 1000 sq ft
Might have to repeat every 6 months over a couple years

Clover likes acidic soil adding lime sweetens the soil

Hire a rabbit....Seriously, this will be a lot of work, but you can dig up your soil, then sterilize it, then lay it back down. You can sterilize your soil by putting it in a roasting pan (one you don't want for food anymore) and putting it in a 250 degree oven for 45 min OR you can microwave it for about 3 min or so depending on how much soil you put in at a time. Both these options will KILL all seeds, spores, and strands of living root still in the soil, and at the same time will kill all bacteria or anything else still in it.

Or you could simply ditch the soil and replace it with new. The tiny bits of root are just growing new clover. That is why pulling doesn't work, you always leave tiny bits of root, it can't be helped.

Cover the beds with clear plastic and let the sun bake the heck out of it. The heat should do it in.
