I've already started trying to pry it up, but it takes forever. I have also tried to remove the planks with a Hilti Drill. Does anyone else have any other methods?

We're building a house, and we want stone and brick. But I do not want any shade of red brick, I want a pastel, cream, beige, brown, white-ish, or grey. I really want a natural looking brown shutter, the batten/board kind (the kind on european style homes, or cottages). My other option is a black shutter. I really want my home to be unique, not like the other red brick homes in my neighborhood. There is somebody in the neighborhood who is building a beige brick, brownish stone home, and I don't want It to seem like i'm copying. Do you guys have any color combo ideas?? (brick/stone/shutter color) I would LOVE to have some opinions! I get confused really easily, and it's resting on my shoulders (my husband certainly can't make a decision like this:) Thanks!

My black trousers were ironed on the right side with a too hot iron and there are numerous shiny marks on them. Is it possible to remove or at least reduce the appearance? The fabric contains elastane, polyester and viscose - and they have a feint pinstripe. Thank you for any help

The plastic resuable filter that is in there now appears to only filter large air particles. It's a thin black screen and frame. I want to use a store bought disposable filter to help filtration.

I know this is going to be vague but can anyone suggest the approximate cost of redecorating 18 bedrooms, fitting 5 bathrooms, 2 reception rooms, 10 showers and 3 flights of stairs and hallways. all rooms need new flooring, lighting, paint, furniture and curtains. No labour costs, just the materials etc? I know it's kind of like how long is a piece of string but has anyone done something similar? How much did it cost. (this is in uk)

I'm in Michigan with temperatures expected to be 10 - 20 deg. F when they pour the garage floor concrete. They say they will use an additive to aid in the cold weather curing of the concrete and will have the garage heated. What are the symptoms of improperly cured concrete ? Crumbling ? Cracking ? Should I tell them not to do it yet ? What is the acceptable temperature range ?

My upstairs is 6-7 degrees warmer than my downstairs naturally because heat rises. However my thermostat is located upstairs and is controlled by the temp upstairs making downstairs unfomfortable. I have my thermostat set at 72. Any solutions?
* Should I move my thermostat downstairs?
* Is there a sensor that I can place downstairs to control the thermostat?
* Can I have more than one thermostat?
* I have heard of something called zoning which allows you to keep one hvac unit. Any HVAC contractors know about this?
My house is 1577 sqft and I have propane powering the heater/furnace with an electric ac unit. The house is 3 years old. Thanks.

The paint is 4 months old. I opened the can of paint. It had mold growth on the surface. I must not have sealed it properly. I stirred it up not thinking about a problem with using it. OOOPS! Now the mold is mixed throughout the paint. Can I still use it without worrying about causing mold where I touch up? I'm afraid if I buy a new can of paint, the color won't match exactly. Please help.
