I allways find it hard to open my front and back door in the winter time. Just wondering if anyone knows why?

My dog has really long hair, and it's stuck pretty well in my fleece jacket. I've tried washing and drying it twice, but it's still covered in hair, any suggestions?

p.s. a regular lint brush, and a sticky lint brush didn't work well. thankyou.

Hi people. I have owned two beautiful good luck Bonzai for over two years. They are bright green and sturdy. Recently I have noticed a white clunky film on my plants and the vases. I cleaned the plants, the vases, rocks and added fresh new water. Now my plants smell really bad. They have a cheesy rotten smell. Worse than the smelly water from a flower or rose vase. Is there anything I can do? I have had these plants in my office, living room, kitchen and have never come across this before. Any suggestions is appreciated!

I have an old stove I found in the woods and it's in pretty good shape. I am interested in finding out how old it is. It's an old Crosley electric stove/oven Model # COD-1 Ser# 2002252. It was manufactured by AVCO Man. Corp. Any info is appreciated.

I had a Hotpoint fridge that started acting up in October. The stuff in the freezer would defrost; the temperatures could get as high as 60 degrees. When I'd turn up the thermostat, the stuff in the refrigerator would freeze. Twice since then the "fridge doctor" quickly looked at it & replaced the thermostat.
Now I have a completely new fridge...got it yesterday. It's another Hotpoint, different model. It was installed 24 hours ago. I checked the temp--it's been set at 6 all day--and my ice cubes are melting! The same thing is happening.
It's a new fridge, so what is the problem??

I live in an apartment with a washer hook up but no dryer hookup. Is it possible to convert to a standard plug so I can use my dryer or will I have to talk my landlord into placeing a dryer plug and breaker for it?

I have a pair of cotton drawstring pants, and i NEED them to be stretched out ASAP.

Story: I am on a sports team, and I bought a pair of warmup pants.
I tried on a pair from another teammate, and they fit perfectly. I was pre-warned that when I got my pair, they would be small, and I'd need to stretch them out.

I need these pants to be stretched out really soon, as our first competition is comming up shortly, and the way that the team vetrans strethed out their pants was wearing them frequently.. i've been wearing mine for 3 days straight, and still have little change. Would washing them in cold water have any effect? Also, they are long enough.. they are just too snug in the thighs and calves. Thanks!

in my bathroom the ceiling is leaking. i think its the guy that lives above me. when he takes a shower its crazy, there will be water running down hitting my bathroom window on the outside and he must splash outside of the bathroom tub on the inside because the plaster walls and ceiling on the inside are beginging to warp and flake off. what should i do? i live in a condo. who is responsible? should i go upstairs and yell at him?
