I have a SLIGHT problem but first a little background. My husband owns a very sucessful construction and remodeling company.Any work I want done around the house he does it without complaining and puts as much pride in the work he does himself here as he does in the work that people pay his company to do. From building an E85 plant to remodeling kitchens. Here is the problem. We started to remodel our home, every color, fabric and so forth I picked out and yes I asked him did he like it before I made the final choices.Recently after 2 1/2 months of remodeling our upstairs bathroom gutting it to the bones ripping up the floor and even instaling custom made cabinets it is complete. And.......I HATE IT! I hate everything about it, I hate the color, I hate the new heated floor, I hate the windows I hate the cabinets I even hate the shower curtain! How do I tell him? As I type this I am sitting in our computer room it is 1/3 painted something I told him I'd do before he got back on the 3rd

We have small dogs that won't stop wetting the floor and we're afraid that in time, it'll cause the floor to warp.

I have already tried to vacuum the house with a new vacuum on a new wall to wall carpet but the new carpet continues to develop little balls of carpet fluff or lint. The first time I vacuumed the carpet the vacuum was compacted with the lint and then wasn't able to get any more things out of the carpet.

Is there something that I need to do with a new carpet? is there a tool used to clean up the carpet lint? Should I use a different setting to vacuum the carpet? Is there a vacuum rating I need to get the carpet clean?

Would I be gaining anything interms of cost? WOuld this be too much work or too costly to consider? I like the gas for convenience but the cost is pretty high. Would I gain by installing a pellet stove?

I'm trying to remove vinyl floor tiles from a hardwood floor. I tried some stuff from home depot that's supposed to help - but it can't penetrate the plastic to get at the glue. Thanks!

I have tried everything that I can think of to get rid of the smell. Lemon juice, grinding up oranges lemons and limes, bleach, baking soda, I even tried a comercial cleaner called Disposer Care. They all work, for the moment, but shortly afterward the smell comes back. I also always make sure to grind things up completly as soon as they go down. Can anyone help?

I am in the process of moving and my grandmother's dining table did not fare well in the move (a dresser fell on it...). I will try to describe this as best as I can. The table top is fine, no damage done. The legs themselves are not split. But there were pieces of long wood attached to the underside of the table top they linked the legs to the top. They split (some badly). Is there a way to repair split wood reliably? Or is there a way I can attach the table legs to the table top directly without worrying about damage? I realize I could get a cheap new table, but this was my deceased grandmother's table and I spent a lot of time fixing it up before the mishap, so I'd really prefer to just save it. Thanks!

Is it possible to have both systems running in a house e.g underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. As I understand it they both run at different water temperatures, so would this have an undesirable effect on the whole heating system?

I really want a clock that makes a Chime or Cuckoo noise, but it would have to be battery or digital, anyone know where I could get one from?

If not, would anyone happen to know what they are called? Thankyou.

Please don't just say "eBay"... - that is no help =)

I got a free estimate that seemed very high. I'm replacing an inclosure tub and walls. They seem to stress acrylic, is their design as opposed to fiberglass. What's are other opinions? Pro and cons
