If your buying an eclectic shower, none of them will work, Talk to a local plumber who will be able to advise you, a power shower may well work, providing you have a gas boiler that heats your water, but your question does not give enough information to give you a good answer.

One with small holes, and not many of them. Or, do as I did a few years ago, take off the shower head rose and apply clear silicone sealant to, say, half of the holes (I sealed the outer holes, you could equally seal the inner ones). That concentrates the pressure you have on fewer jets of water. If you aren't satisfied with this then you need a shower pump, which sits on the wall near the shower, the hose to the shower head goes via the pump, boosting the flow of water.. I installed one of these a few years ago (for a different shower), very simple and effective, need not cost a lot (although obviously more than silicone sealant). The de-luxe solution is a full power shower installation, get a plumber to quote you, this is the priciest solution.

Low pressure from where? Mains or storage?? Do you want to install an electric shower from mains water or a thermostatic one from hot and cold supplies???? There are various solutions to both systems.

Isn't it nice to see so many uninformed guesses when they don't have all the information? You do not say if is an electric shower, working from a combi boiler or running off the hot water tank. With that information, it might be possible to give you an answer. And where Les the Painter is coming from, I do not know.

Low pressure, or low flow?

If it's only at the shower head, then you need to buy what ever shower head you like.

They tend to plug up over a couple years or so. (calcium, lime, rust, etc.)

If you remove your regular shower head and replace it with one of those water saving types, you might get a useable flow, and save money while you are at it! These run $5 to $19 in most hardware stores.

Just changing the shower head is not going to do you much, if any, good. You need to call a plumber to find out what the problem is and to see how you can fix it.
