My Mom used to rub our zippers with ski wax. Works great!

Get a regular pencil and rub it up and down the teeth of the zipper when it is zipped up. Pencil lead is made of graphite, and this works well, because graphite is a natural lubricant.

my granny told me to use candle as grease. After i tried, gosh, it is true. I could zip the zipper easier.

try rubbing it with bar soap or wax. have used both and they work.
