I got a free estimate that seemed very high. I'm replacing an inclosure tub and walls. They seem to stress acrylic, is their design as opposed to fiberglass. What's are other opinions? Pro and cons

One of my family members used ReBath to remove their tub and replace it with a shower stall. It cost them $5,000 for the job, which I thought was outrageous. They seem happy with the quality of the work though.

When I needed this done, we used a company called BathFitters. They did a great job and the walls look great. We didn't get our tub refitted because it's an old tub and I like the 1950's lines. Anyway, the caulking is first rate and it's really easy to clean. Good luck!

They are very high. Its usually cheaper to redo your bath the right way. Having a professional install new tub and tile etc. I've heard bad things about this company in my area.
