Any colors will go with white. I suggest picking 3 colors that coordinate with each other.
In one room, use one of these colors as the main color, a second one as something a little less usage as the first. And, just a touch for accents, as the 3rd color.
In the next room, make the main color the one you'd used for the second color, with the 3rd color from the other room as the second, and the accents the one you'd used as the main color in the first room.
Third room, use second room's second color as the main color, the second one the one you'd used for the 3rd color in the last room as the second, and the 2nd color from the last room as accents.
The rooms will all tie together, and flow from room to room.
These touches of color can be curtains, picture frames, decorative pillows, nick nacks, throw rugs or throws on the backs of furniture. Don't need to be expensive.

I have the same problem, as my walls are also white and I can not paint. I solved this problem by making each room in the apt. a different "theme" to kind of keep things interesting. I also put tons of mirrors, pictures, etc. all around the apt. to keep the place from looking so "institutional"! ;) Hope you are enjoying your new place! :)

Maybe for the bedroom, a very light pastel shade of purple/lilac? I have that in a room and it looks very clean and crisp with the white. Maybe for the bathroom a shade of green like ivy or lime? That will look nice and fresh with white.

i like the blackboard concept, yet perhaps have a chair rail and in user-friendly words do the proper 1/2 of the room in blackboard paint and do the bottom 1/2 with the white paint and splatter concept! in case you do all blackboard the room would develop into too darkish and closed in. i like all of your thoughts! your very imaginative

well white looks good with any kind of color.
if it were me, maybe blue and baby blue for the bedroom and a tropical look for the bathroom.
that just my suggestion, but chose any color you like and stick with it!
