Talk to the guy above you.... he will need to find out why it's leaking and I would think he is responsible for the bill if he is being negligent in caring for his apartment. Good luck.... I would would call a repair guy ASAP because it would be terrible to have the ceiling cave in.

It's possible there is a problem with the plumbing. It is probably the plumbing on his end. If you have a maintenance guy, bring the issue to his attention RIGHT NOW. If not, go talk to the guy, do not yell at him, if it is that much water, it isn't just from splashing around, he probably doesn't even know it is happening. His insurance may cover damage to your unit. Ask your condo association how to go about handling this.

I lived in a house where the water leaked into my closet in the basement. The mold ended up being ridiculous. I would talk to the guy above you. It might not be his fault. He could have a small leak in the side of his tub. Try looking where the wall and the tub meet. This could cause the water to drizzle downward. You don't know until you talk to him.
Good Luck !

You must find the source of the leak and the only way to do that is to talk to the resident upstairs. It could be a plumbing or roofing problem. He may be responsible if you do not have a resident association that takes care of that type of problem. The builder should also be contacted for possible remedy.

No, dont go yell at him, he probably doesnt even know about it, and it's not his fault. You need to contact the management office/landlord. THey are responsible for fixing these types of repairs. That is unless you own this condo. In which case you need to polietly coordinate a time for a plumber to fix the leak. If it is leaking from his condo into yours he is responsible for the damages and costs.

regularly there is flashing(bent products of metal)that overlap each and every coarse of shingles then a counter flash is utilized, the step flashing is put in and nailed to the roof the counter flashing is mortised into the chimney(as masonary and timber would improve/contract otherwise)the challenge will be fastened by technique of eliminating any free or previous caulking and installation new %one hundred silicone caulking, if stuck quickly sufficient, the biggest difficulty is that by technique of the time you get water with the help of the ceiling it has already traveled with the help of many inches or ft of installation fabric and rots it,so fix now and do not postpone, time waiting will in user-friendly words cost extra money.

No need to yell..Call your Management Company. If it's
a roof leak then his ceilings would most likely be damaged also.Let the Management company figure it out, that is what you pay them for.
Good Luck
