My 18 year old is devestated he got a 1 ft X 2ft.section red candle-wax on his priced X-mas gift.So far we had it in the freezer and removed the worst by scraping and peeling it of.
We are useing stacks of news -paper and paper towel to soak it up with a warm iron.
Part of the wax is covering the white number on the jersey.
How did it happen?? Horsing around of course!!
Is there any thing else we can do? THANK YOU for any help at all.!
It is of course to late,to say "don't horse around in the first place!

I can't seem to find a serial or model number, I can only tell you it's brown in colour and has no switches, panels etc on it. It was already in our house when we moved in.
It is switched on in our electric cupboard and it does get luke warm, we tried to chage the controls but couldn't find any! Any help appreciated!

Sorry if the answer to this question is obvious but I just don't know - how do you buy blinds?!! I mean, do you have to get them specially cut to fit the size of the window exactly? If so, does the shop you buy them from do this? It's just that I've seen blind cutters advertised somewhere, so does that mean I would buy them at a standard size and cut them down myself?
Any advice appreciated, thanks.

May seem a funny question BUT what would you say is the best way to wash bras? I'm guilty of shoving mine in the washing machine with all my other clothes but I know that I shouldn't do this. Is hand washing best? It's such a chore!!

Don't people realize that a house in a neighborhood can be worth only so much? I mean if you put 50,000 in home improvements (when the stuff you are replacing is fine and not outdated) just because you want a new kitchen, living room (give me a break) will go up if the houses in that neighborhood only command a certain price? Why do people put so much money into their homes even though they know that won't get the money back in resale since houses in a neighborhood can command in price to a certain extent and thats it?

I didn't notice this until I moved in. It seems if I try to take the doors off to remove their hinges it will damage the door. Almost all the doors and window frames were repainted, but no pains were taken to protect the surrounding surfaces.
