I pulled back some boxes that had been stored against the wall and found this white fuzzy (about 2" thick) crystalline material .
There had been water on the floor from a water heater leak.

Hi!

How much would utility bills cost per month do you think? A working person living alone... How much would it cost per month to run a home?

I am looking for coldwater laundry detergent, as our communal washing machines currently have only cold wash (it might take some time for them to get repaired). Where can I buy such detergent and is it good? Thanks!

One of the wall sockets in the kitchen repeatidly trips (it's a Leviton Smart Lock GFCI wall socket). The appliances sharing the circuit is the refrigerator and the gas stove/oven. It trips two to four times a day. I've already replaced the wall socket, and it still trips at the same rate. We use to have a mice problem (seems to be gone now), so we suspected they may have chewed on the refrigerators wires. I pulled the fridge out and the wires (including the ones near the compressor) are fine. The stove/oven is never on when the circuit trips, the only thing powered is the LED clock. So how do I find out the source of the short causing the circuit to keep tripping?

cleaning. I put floers out front and fake ones in the kitchen in a vase. I have lots of candles and incents and if someone is fixing to come look at it I put cinnamon and cloves on the stove top and let it boil for a good smell. Any other ideas? I appreciate all your help!

there are 2 enclosed rooms downstairs being used for storage and workshop. The concrete slab it's on is still good. Would it be cheaper to remodel this into a workshop/garage or tear it down and just build a double carport and new 9x12 shop? The current 2 rooms are about 12x24 and 9x12. This used to be a house but there was a fire upstairs.

I have to do a small wood project (flooring). I want to use the miter saw to do cuts, but, I don't have a stand for it. Is it safe enough for cutting wood strips to do so on the ground? I've seen it done with a table saw, but, never with a miter saw.

I want to install a shower in my basement, but don't want to trench the floor. Does anyone have any experience with pumps for shower drains? I need to know what my set-up should look like to drain the shower into a pump that sends the water to the main sewer line. What valves, vents and whatever do I need? Any help of alternative suggestions are very welcome. Thanks!

Hi! We work with industrial bleach, degreaser, and foam. I am lloking for a website to see how much of the chemicals do you put in per gallon of water? I've read bleach is 1/2 a liquid ounce per gallon of water. I would like to have sources of this statement or a website. My concern is the bleach we use is industrial grade and we can delude it too. This year we saved money on not using so much bleach but i would like to change it and have it be lower. If i have facts that'll help me with some of the workers bad habits. Please a website or a source would be nice.

It is a 3 way switch. It and another one at the end of the hallway control a light. I pulled out the old switch and I have a tan wire on the lower left screw, a black on the top right and a red on the bottom right. The replacement switch is newer with two screws on the left and two on the right and a ground screw. I don't have a multimeter to test which wire is hot, and even if I knew, the switch is not labelled as to where the wires go. It is a "Pass and Seymour" 3 way switch from Menards if that helps. Can anyone tell me how this gets wired in ?
