They're great if your clothes aren't too dirty. The don't deal too well with grime, but are fine otherwise. You do get a 'stain stick' with them which is good for small patches of dirt.
They're efficient because not being soap/detergent based you can skip the rinse cycles. Trouble with this is that if your machine can't be told not to rinse, you need to be standing next to it at the right moment.

I used them for a while. I liked the way they made the clothes feel but they didn't get the clothes clean if they were really dirty, you needed to use an additional stain remover. Also my machine at the time didn't do short washes so they ran out in less washes. They also didn't remove sweaty smells!!!! I liked the way my washing machine didn't clog up with soap scum. May try them again with my new machine. I had forgotten all about them!

May I ask what is An Eco Ball? Although there are a large amount of people who have access to the internet, not all have access to the advertising Media.
What kind of balls are you referring to? are they made of materials that are documented? and are clear of all damage to the ozone layer in their manufacture?
If so where do I get them & do they leave your clothes smelling like they were washed & dried on a mountain hillside?
worried & confused

Same problem. I tried them for a while and like you, found that the clothes didn't smell fresh (they didn't smell bad either, but I missed the lovely conditioner smell). I have gone back to powder again, but keep mine in case I run out and need to do a wash. Also good for holidays when you don't want to carry washing powder with you.
