the indoor lights do not give off ultraviolet light wich is what plants need. set the plants near a window so that it can get sunlight and leave the window open so that the plants can get some air. you might also want to water them.

I am a horticulturist, so you can trust my advice. Yellow leaves are an indication of over watering. Even if the soil feels dry on the surface, there can be waterlogging around the roots. Make sure the pot has adequate drainage. You must provide more light for it. A simple flourescent spotlight will help and costs under ten dollars. If you are brave enough to handle the plant, tip it out of the pot to see what is going on down there around the roots. Being potbound is not the end of the world for tropical plants, but stagnant water or poor, dried out soil should be dealt with. Good luck.

It would have helped ALOT had you told us what kind of plant this is. All plants need a variety of different things in order to grow and be healthy. I would find out what kind of plant this is and go online...type in the plants name and you should get alot of info. or call your local florist and the public library is full of books on house plants. Some plants do have leaves that die off...it's a natural thing especially in winter, but with your plant it's hard to say. Have you tried fertilizer, have you looked for insects, do you water it to much or not enough? Think about these things maybe you can figure this out yourself.

Sounds like you water to much,"root rot" is #1 plant killer. Most plants should be watered once a month. Once root rot there's no help for plant, sorry you may have killed it.
