Possums, raccoons, squirrels, birds of many kinds, moles, gophers...skunk, dog attacked it and it sprayed us both at 3 am right outside the back door...that was fun...snakes...no rattlers in the yard tho, thank goodness, black widow spiders everywhere, the occasional scorpion...great blue heron...

In the front yard I also get deer (they sleep under my deck on hot days) and at least once a coyote.

I've heard that the mountain lions are coming back, and read one article talking about a bear, but no one has seen them around here yet...

Black snakes, sleepy lizards, geckos, dragon lizards, kangaroos, brushtailed possums, ibis, galahs, Adelaide rosellas, rainbow lorikeets, sulphur crested cockatoos, red rumped parrots... it's a rather large backyard (85 acres)

One night when we were having a card party, which we were all drinking, I don't play cards, so I was the waiter/waitress getting beers and stuff for all when I looked out our kitchen window and there was this giant bird sitting on our kids teeter-totter!!!! I told all our friends to come and look at this bird and they all told me to quit drinking etc.. and laughed at me! I finally grabbed my husband by the arm and took him to the window and sure enuf he saw it to! Well he went out to check it out and it was a Turkey!!! They said it had to be wild cause it was so big- but can you imagine seeing one on a teeter-totter??? It was funny to say the least!!

oppossum, snakes, deer, ground hog [woodchuck] ducks, voles
:-(.... rabbits, coopers hawk [we have bird feeders and tons of birds] and we live in a subdivision in Southern Indiana!
