Rub it with a little vegatable oil providing the cover is not fabric of course. If the cover is fabric get a bottle of Goo Gone. It removes all sorts of sticky stuff.

A moist dishcloth may be used in many cases even with a little dish Dawn dishsoap if needed. Next you can use a little simple green on the towel.

Acetone, though instantly effective, is the last resort as it may dull the finish of the material upon which it is used.

GOO GONE works for sticker residue or other sticky misses. Or try rubbing shorting into the goo,rub it in real good then whip with paper towel.

give it a wipe with some wd40 on a rag. Or buy a cool sticker & put it over the sticky glue

Goo gone for sure! I think most grocery stores carry it. Mineral spirits work almost as well.

try some peanut butter or Goo Gone or if it's vinyl, use wd40
