I was told that there is a spray that will make suede resistant to water and stains, but I can't find nearly anything online about it. What brand should I use? Where should I get it? How much should I expect to pay? This is for a suede jacket. Thanks!

ok, i bought a down coat that is machine washable. so i just washed it and dried it, and now it smells like a wet dog. which obviously grosses me out, and i can't wear it smelling like that. does anyone have any ideas on what i can do to fix it, or prevent the problem in the future (other than dry cleaning it, which would actually cost more than i paid for the jacket- it was on a huge sale)?

I will be getting a new bedroom in a few months and it is about medium size and I would like the decorating theme to be Alice in Wonderland. The Disneys movie and the scene where alice is in the Golden Afternoon Garden. You know, with the big flowers and mushrooms etc... I have a loft bed and they might build one of those ebcesses windowd where it goes out and theres a window seat. I also have a dresser that is raw wood so I can paint it or stain it. My bed is a light pine wood but I cannot stain or paint it.... sooo.... any ideas to decorate my room? Any I can start now before my room is built?

My natural gas furnace has been making a slight humming noise for the past few months or so, but it's been working just fine, so I didn't really pay much attention to it. But now it is getting really loud. Haven't opened it up or taken a look at it. Any ideas what might cause this or what it takes to fix?

We just bought a brand spankin new house with a corner jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. My fiance's family told us to clean it by filling it with water, add a bit of Clorox, and run the jets for 1/2 an hour. The water turned brown and stained our brand new tub! YUK! I've slowly been able to clean it...but I want to know why this happened. Help please!

What is the healthiest? For example they say you shall change the hand towel you use everyday. And they also say for the face you shouldn't use a towel, instead use paper towel.

And the bed sheets? Is it the best to changethem once a week or every three days?

Is there a doctor out there who knows about the bestthing to do?= Please help. Cheers.

Inherited a large 5 drawer chest from a woman who passed on. She was in her 90s, so I'm sure this dresser is older than me (I'm 31). Anyway, I wiped down all the drawers and even the inner frame with Pine-sol, then with Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner. After wood dried, there is still an old "musky" odor.

I want to put my 6 month old's clothes in this drawer (it's in her nursery). How can I remove the smell, or what product can I use to mask the odor so it does not penetrate my baby's clothes?

I recenlty ran out of propane. I only use it for cooking so I have a fifty gallon tank. The tank is the propane companies tank. Anyway, I called to have them come and fill it. When I asked how much it was I was told $4.50 a gallon for "Cooking Propane". Hmmm....Who knew? Anyway, I asked why so much? I was told becuase I only am getting 50 Gallons. I asked how much it would be if I was getting a hundred gallons? I was told $2.37. The propane company in question is a small family owned operation only about 2 miles from my house.

This basically made me want to just call the electrician and have him throw a 220 line down for me to put a new stove in. I called a few other propane companies. One said they were charging $6.30 a gallon for "Cooking Propane". They make it seem like they have to do some special mixture so you can cook with it. It is totally rediculous. All forms of energy should be GOVT Regulated. None of this Free Enterprise Crap for natural resources.

We have a warm winter here in Boston. The crocus in my garden , which usually flower in the spring, got confused and started to sprout. Unfortunately we are going to have snow next week. What can I do to protect those young plants so that they will still bring us flowers in the spring?
