I have only tried this product on clothing so far, but I did find another product a while ago that worked really well removing acrylic paint from a 20 some odd year old carpet, including taking out some of the all over stain of a beige carpet that now looks grey. I had to hide the spot until the carpet can be cleaned al over to even out the overly clean spot compared to the rest of the well used carpet.
What I used was "simply clean". It is an environmentally friendly cleaning solution. I don't use just enviro friendly products, that is not why I am suggesting it.
I plan to try oxy on my carpet, when I get a stain either from my husband or our son, but until then I'll keep using it on our clothing.
Hope you find something that works for you.

Yes, use the woolite oxy. It is in a blue and red bottle. It works great. I was driving in my truck with a huge bottle of sangria and the bottle broke and went all over the carpet. I sprayed that on there and it all came right up. You couldn't even tell that I had spilled anything on it. It may not work as well for household carpet but I have found that if you spray it on the stain and let it sit overnight, the next day the stain will come up.

yes it works to a point it does make a difference but you still will have the stain but its much much lighter then what it was. my stain was grape juice and you know how hard that is to get up. the oxy clean lighten the stain up alot. so i would say yes it works to a point. that was on my carpet and i have used it in the washer too and it works better for the washer then for the carpets but you can use it for both carpet and washer.
my stain on the carpet was old like a few days old bc i did not realize it was there so i guess it would work much better if you spot the stain right away and use the oxy clean right then and there.

you extremely might desire to be careful to not 'set' the stain/scent. What you like is a purifier with enzymes to break down the fat that are in urine. and then to grant it a properly-known sparkling. organic and organic washing powder will try this extremely properly. i might propose washing the section with bio-washing powder in warm water. as quickly as that is dry use some bicarb of soda to develop the remainder scent - sprinkle it on extremely liberally, then hoover after a pair of hours. do not use non-bio - that's the not have been given the enzymes subsequently wont artwork. Natures Miricle works in a lot the comparable way - yet extra high priced. i might defiantly not propose any acidic remedies alongside with vinegar, this might 'set' the stain. Urine should be neutralised and subsequently use something alkali. superb of success.

I did it's ok. I like Spot Shot better. For pet stains try a little viniger in some water and use a rag moistened in the mixture and rub and dab at the stains.
