Specifically closed stairs (i.e. there is a "knee wall" around), and the options are carpeting or engineered wood with nosing on the treads. Thanks.

I found these in my yard yesterday. They look like some sort of egg. Does anyone know what it is? All of them have one little hole in them. I don't know if that is because something hatched out of them, or something like a bird ate what was in it. We've had lots of rain here so they were very soft to the touch. They were found on top of the ground, but don't know if the rain had something to do with that. I read somewhere about a website something like whatsthatbug.com does anyone know if that is correct or if there is another website I could upload this picture? Thanks.

My wife and I are helping out a young boy that was injured in a farm accident. He enjoys the outdoors so our goal is to create a sustainable wildlife area for him to enjoy on his parents property. The types of trees we are looking for are mostly fast growing. Examples; poplar, silver maple, white oak, douglas fir, honey locust, sweet sumac, hazelnut, mountain ash or others that would benifit wildlife. We live in Manitowoc County, WI. Can anybody help us out?

I found an old elongated pot that i wanted to take up to school with me to create a little herb garden in my window sill. When i found it on my back porch there was already soil in it that was saturated, and has mold growing on it. Would it be ok to just let it dry out for a week or so, or should i just go right ahead and buy more potting soil?

Thank you!

I have this office park not far from my house and there were many tall slender pines on the territory....now those pines did not pose any danger to anything, neither the parking lots nor the office building. Recently about half of pines were cut down. They didn't cut pines in a certain area, but they randomly picked and cut down all over the place.

What was the point of that? (not construction, because they only removed some pines) is it possible that that way the other pines will get more room to grow?

The compnay and I are in Brandon/Valrico, Florida. They came out to clean 3 times and all 3 services were unsatisfactory. The third cleaning was with a new Maid. They were suppose to come to do a free clean and that person never showed. I asked for my money for just the last clean and they did not want to refund it, now I want for all 3 cleanings. Please let me know where I have to go and what the process is?
