i hv done it mny time steel wool or sand the glaze a little and prime then paint

Yes, there are actually several products available in hardware stores for this, often called tub and tile refinish kit. 15-20 bucks for a kit that will cover an entire bathtub. Hardware stores may know how to get larger quantities. You will need to thoroughly clean, then prime and/or sand the tile to make sure the paint adheres. Also, make sure to buy good paint brushes or rollers. I used cheap ones when I refinished my tub and they kept falling apart and now pieces of the brushes are permanently part of my tub.

You sure can but be sure to apply a coat of primer to it first to give the paint something to adhere to,

Yes you can but I would suggest you hire a profesional. Its not as simple as it sounds.
