I rent, and I have a small bathroom with very grimy tile. Please give me any advice you may have for brightening up a dull bathroom floor.

This may sound crazy, but I use vinegar and a little dish washing liquid. Yes, it smells, but the smell will go away when the floor dries. (Vinegar is also a deodorizer.) The vinegar and dish washing liquid is a really good cleaning solution, and it really makes my floor shine. After cleaning with this solution, you must rinse with clear water, then dry with a towel or squeegee. Use the solution only on tile, not on wood.
