I have a regular installation in my house, so I probably need a transformer. Any good places to buy one? I also want to connect a dryer (220 V 2900 W)

My lawn is starting to get over-run by creeping bentgrass which is immune to Roundup and any other weed killer I know of. The bentgrass looks ok during the growing season but turns completely brown in the winter months. I just have large patches of it so far so I would like not to plow up the whole yard and start over. And even that probably would not get rid of the bentgrass.

I have white clothes from work that I have to wash frequently. Using a ton of bleach isn't getting them totally clean. Does anyone out there have any good solutions as to any stuff they've used that REALLY works when it comes to washing white clothes in the washer? These are sturdy white work clothes, cotton-polyester blend.

Please, serious answers only.
I really need to find something that works.

We just moved to a new house on a cul-de-sac and there is a large empty field between our back yard and the sound wall of the freeway. There is some debris and plants with gourds growing back there and it looks like skunk heaven. Ouir small dog already got sprayed but the smell came into the house...any ideas on chasing them away??

I am determined to get the coffee pots on our Bunn/Oasis coffee makers at work clean. They are terribly dirty and stained. However I don't want to use anything that will make anyone sick. I know at home I use vinegar and it works will, will vinegar damage these types of stainless pots?? What is the best way to clean these particular coffee pots?

I own an expensive Weber Gas Grill that will not light most of the time. When I do get it lit, the flame bar does not produce much flame and only over part of its surface. How do I restore the grill to its original functionality? Note that propane tank is full and I've tried switching tanks.

I am very concerned about global warming, and when I grow up (I'm only fourteen) I plan on using solar power to power my home (and I hope that when I grow up it's customary). How efficient is solar power? How many square feet would it take to power a 2,000 square foot home? How much would it cost?
