I own an expensive Weber Gas Grill that will not light most of the time. When I do get it lit, the flame bar does not produce much flame and only over part of its surface. How do I restore the grill to its original functionality? Note that propane tank is full and I've tried switching tanks.

Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning it? If the holes get plugged up you will not get a flame from there.

Remove your grates and then your flavor bars (angled metal strips) You can then inspect your burners to see if there are any holes or rust. keep in mind that the gas holes are on the bottom.

This is a good time to remove your drip pan and to clean all the crap from your grill with a scraper and wire brush.

Before you reassemble, check your ignitor to see if it is producing a spark when you push the button. If not, you need a new igniter kit.

Weber grill parts are readily available in stores or on line. A good Weber can last for years and years if kept clean.

Charcoal will make for a better taste though the gas will go quite a bit quicker. Matter of preference for taste vs time.

I find that I have to clean my BBQ at the beginning of every summer. I tend to find spiders, earwigs clogged in the burner intake.
