The Paint Runner, a roller with the paint inside it and extension poles to reach up, is advertised on a couple of shopping channels including vectordirect.

Has anyone bought one? Are they worth it?

Do not buy....They are more time consuming than they are worth.
There are professional models that are worth it, I have used for running 2500x10ft of open exterior wall ect. Doubt that's what you are buying.
1. THEY CLOG
2.FLOW OF PAINT NOT CONSISTENT
3.HARD TO CLEAN
4.HARD TO WORK IN TIGHT AREAS
5.PARTS HARD TO KEEP UP WITH
Use a 5 gal. bucket with a grid/screen. This is the best overall method. (it's what my guys use)

Tips: 1)don't dry roll...use plenty of paint
2) don't press on nap/cover, glide down the wall
3) start strokes in the middle, roll back & forth spreading from top to bottom

Good luck. Any more questions you can email me procolorllc@hotmail.com

Happy Painting

I have used a similar product. The issues I had was that it was hard to control the flow, and it is very difficult to clean. I prefer a five gallon pail with a roller screen. It works well and is nearly impossible to make a mess with.

Save your money. They make it look easy but it just a way for them to make a buck. Buy a roller and tray and do it the way most people paint.

No its not worth it...I suggest getting a sprayer. They cut the time in half and also don't use half as much paint...
