I am going to give you an answer that I swear you are going to thank me for -- for the rest of your life !!!
There is a product
you will have to search it down because it is not in general distribution just absolutely everywhere---but---it CAN be located---a lot of military bases have it in their commissary-----
It is called ------- NEVR--DULL
It is a miracle product on ALL forms of metal---comes as a solution prepped wadding in a small can and is extremely low dollar for what it does and the superior job it accomplishes
the address of the product distributor is
The George Basch Co. Inc.
Freeport, N.Y. 11520
If you get this product and use it once---you will never be without it again !! My family has been using this stuff for thirty-five years and I would literally go nuts if I ran out of it----buy at least three or four cans at a time ---- but --- it goes a devil of a long ways too--
Will work on silver---copper---brass---chrome---gold---etc etc etc
Hope this helps -----and ----Happy New Year
Oh--and this stuff is so much better than Brasso that if people knew about it in the open market-----Brasso would have to shut down production !!!!

Not all metals can be polished. Every metal has a partner to be polished. In the sense that metal can stick to another metal. Aluminium can be polished with tin. Just heat the tin and apply on Aluminium it will be sticked. Steel is a polished material so you need not to be polished. I don't know for iron. sorry.

Tooth past work good on brass and copper.... use a glob of it and your hands or a paper towel and rubb it on good then rinse it in hot water .... unless it has a lot of little bumps or something (like a necklas peice) or youll have some toothpast stuck in it ...

go to a store... most have it... it comes in a bottle and probl. says brass polish or tarnish remover on it. It shines and takes away any tarnish. I know Wal*Mart has this item.
