ok you likely need to get new furnace filters, and go for the best brand you can find, hepe type filters if you can get them, but its also possible your ducting is filled with pounds of dirt and that all may need to be cleaned by a professional in duct work, if not at least run your vac hose down in all your floor vents. make sure your vac is keeping the dust in it and not spitting that all over the house, i caught my man vacing without the dirt cup even on the vac, i laughed till i was blue then had to clean house . hes well meaning but not too observant. Wash all your fabrics, like drapes, blankets and so on. they create a lot of dust as the fibers break down, thats why the dryer filter is always full.be sure you do clean that lint trap out each time you do laundry, cut down on drapes and rugs and so on if you can, then less of that dust is created, use blinds and shades instead of drapes, bare floors instead of carpet and rugs. pets are a huge cause of dust, dont toss dirty clothes around, wash them asap to keep down the dust from that. you can also purchase air filter systems for your rooms, its usually a small box like thing with a filter on it and a small fan, that circulates room air through the fan and filter, the filter catching the dust, you want one that you throw the dirty filters away. more expensive is an eletrostatic air cleaner that can be installed on your furnace itself, these are usually for people who have tons of allergies. damp mop bare floors daily if it is that much of a situation, soon you should start to see a real difference in the dust problem. the less fabrics you have around the less dust. I dont have fuzzy blankets, stuffed animals create a lot of dust, i try to trim down the ammount of clothing i have around, package up my off season stuff in plastic bags. do laundry often, and so on . also the less nick nacks around the less to clean.

Filters help, so does keeping the windows closed- but nothing actually prevents dust from happening. If you live in the city, near a busy street, it will always be worse. I read somewhere that a lot of our dust is actually cosmic in origins, making it star stuff in a way. Not that it's easier to live with, and I wish there were a dust repellant spray invented. But then the Endust folks would go bankrupt, along with the Swiffer folks. Sorry, life is just dusty unless you live in a hermetically sealed container.

as long as something is living in the apartment, there is nothing you can do to get rid of the dust completly. Dust is actually rubbed off skin cells. So you would have to not be living in the apartment to avoid it, but The more feasible thing to do would to be get an air filter that has a high filtration rate and is able to move alot of air rapidly.

You can't prevent dust. But if you smoke, burn candles, or burn incense, that will increase the dust. So will vacuumming, shaking out blankets, or plopping down on the furniture. Fans tend to help dust move around and settle.

i do no longer think of you could. i will inform you techniques I wrestle airborne dirt and dirt at my domicile however. i began putting the little around brush attachment on my vacuum purifier and that i vacuum the airborne dirt and dirt off of the furnishings, television, stereo, lamp colours, books, and so on... it somewhat is truly no longer that much greater difficulty than using a feather duster. those feather dusters only variety of deliver the airborne dirt and dirt into the air and it lands back on each and everything later. With the vacuum, it somewhat is long previous. New airborne dirt and dirt has to locate it somewhat is way into the domicile, the previous airborne dirt and dirt is interior the bag. i offered a canister vacuum. it somewhat is lots easier to realize the tops of issues than with an upright. Canister vacs are additionally do an more suitable job than uprights.
