House is in Oceanside, no basement. I looked in the coat closet and walk-in closet. I didn't notice it in the garage but some of the shelves have stuff on them.

I accidentally sucked up a sock when I was using the tube device on my vacuum. Now it is stuck and I can't get it out. I disconnected the tube and still can't budge the sock.

Does anyone know any secrets to dislodging something? Anything I can put in there, etc?

Thanks.

I had a question last week about this, but a new development has come about. They're building a new Wal-Mart about a mile away from my house. My wife says that during the day, they blast on the site, and that when they do, she can feel the entire house vibrate. I've noticed cracks appearing in the walls and near the ceiling. One crack in particular is a hairline crack that stair steps up the wall.

Can something like this do damage to my foundation? And if so, do I have any rights? They were supposed to tell us when they started blasting, but they never did.

I have been doing my own laundry for a few years now. My mother insists that I must sort my clothes by colors so that they do not "bleed" their colors together. I am thinking if I just use cold water and with the advancements in color safe detergent over the years that the colors will not bleed together. I have been successful so far and I have not had any issues with my clothes being ruined.

If you could please share your experiences with mixing the colors together... did you ever run into any problems?

I am having a tough time cleaning out the white grout dust that is deep inside the tile because it has some holes in it too. I have a lot of tiles to clean and scrubbing vigrously and alot helps but jeez its going to take days and lots of work. Any easier way out with some special solution that dissolves this?

For my 13th birthday my dad is letting me redo my bedroom. I love music and I play the guitar so I want to do a music themed room. I have almost black furniture with silver hardware. There isn't a set limit but it can't be too expensive. Any decorating ideas would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I'm a girl.

I was thinking of ordering a duvet. Do they come filled or do you have to order the filling for them? I didn't want to spend that much on something that may be totally unneccesary.
