Whatever you do don't stick a long handled bar-b-que fork in there. That's what I did when I vacuumed up a sock and then I got that stuck in there too. My husband had another great idea to drill a hole on the end of the fork (wooden handle) insert a screw and yank out with a pair of pliers. Would have worked but the fork damaged the telescopic part of the wand and I had to pay $45.00 to get another one. My vac is an expensive one and that sucked....haha, it really did... I wish I could tell you what to do other than don't waste your time and go buy a new one. I almost lost my fingers trying to dig it out but I'm glad to know I'm not the only person that has done that even though it was a kid who left it under a chair and I didn't see it. I took alot of heat for doing that.

there are a approach of vacuums that are speculated to be strong with puppy fur, yet one component you may try would not even require a vacuum, yet reckoning on the length of the rugs, might want to be tedious. a really damp sponge run throughout the rug will many times roll the fur into lengthy strings that could merely be lifted off and disposed of. different then the Dyson, the Eureka Boss SuperVac receives extreme marks. inspite of the indisputable fact that, there seems diverse sort numbers, yet they easily are literally not the fee of a Dyson.

You could either straighten out a clothes hanger and use that to poke the sock out, or use a yardstick.
Good luck!

try straightening out a clothes hanger and leaving a small hook on the end, hook the sock and pull it out. pushing on it will only make it tighter

You may have to take it to a professional vacuum cleaner repair service. I don't think there's a reverse on it.
