I have an old small kitchen table, rectangle shaped, and the underneath of it is like chipboard or something, and it has been exposed to the weather before i got it, and whenever something touches the underneath, bits of wood just flake off and make a mess. I would like to use the table so i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of what i could do? The legs are able to be unscrewed off and the top has like a laminate on it (sorry i dont know all the techinical words!)

I have a condensating furnace that runs good. But while running some water runs out from underneath on the right side. Then after about 20 minutes later it dries up. The furnace is in a huge closet. The vent pipe and take out pump are on the other side and work perfect. Does this mean my furnace is cracked?

I live in San Diego. The soil in my yard is clay though (North Park was built on a clay bed). I cut them back occassionally, have fertilized occassionally, and weed frequently. I water about 3 times a week. Any ideas?

I bought my 1950's house last year. Now I have a drain leaking. I have searched everywhere for the access door to get under the house. Where can I get a blueprint so I can see where it is supposed to be?

FYI; It's no where outside or in any of the closets.

We have a 1/2 acre partially wooded lot. We have approxmately 30 huge trees and nothing grows in the wooded area except for weeds. The rest of the time it is bare earth. Any thoughts on a good shade-loving ground cover? I'd prefer no Ivy. Our neighbors have Ivy and it's out of control.
