All new breakers, outlets and switches done by an electrician, he can't figure out the problem. The power goes out and comes back on with no warning, doesn't trip the breakers. I don't know what else to check. Could it be outside the house?

Recently moved into an older house. In our bathroom there was just a regular light fixture with only a pull to turn it on and off. I decided to change out the light, and install an outlet (there were none in there) and a light switch for it.

The outlet is working fine, but the light has continuous power and the switch isn't working.

What i ended up doing was. House wire to the outlet, outlet to the switch and switch to the new light fixture. Is this correct? or did I do something wrong?

Hello again. I've worked with plants so I get the general idea of putting things in water right away after a fresh cut. But for some reason my Fraiser Fur does not seem to be too thirsty. We cut a good 5" off the bottom, the tree itself seems fresh, not losing many needles at all, but has hardly drank any water. I'm keeping it cool and away from the heat. The tree hasn't been up for 24 hours yet. Does it take more time than a regular plant or flower to draw up into the tree? I thought It drank the most during the first 24? Help - love my tree!

I was cooking with grease, and when I was done, I threw it out over my balcony. But the wind blew it on to my aluminum siding and now there are grease stains on it. Is there any way to get it off, or is it permanently stained?

It is thick and black and stands out horribly against my pale beige carpet and walls. We cannot move the cable jack to the other side of the room and it is the only place to put the TV. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I know that bug spray works on skin, so is it the same? I am trying to remove it off an inline skate, Mission Helium H550's.

It's only about 1 year old. It was right the middle of running and I opened the door - when I turned around it was dead. No power, no light, nothing.

I tried flipping the breaker switch but it's like there's no power getting to it.

Any ideas? Surely a microwave wouldn't die after a year of use.....

in my kitchen the other day when as I screwed the last bracket into the wall the whole thing collapsed sending a coffee cup flying which in turn landed on the spatula which was in the cake mixture I was preparing, flicking cake mix all over the ceiling leaving me with the task of clearing the whole mess up before I re attempt to put the blasted shelf up should I have used raw plugs for the screws?

I would just like any advice or to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience. We had a home inspector come in after I have noticed signs of mold. We have been in the house for 8 years and it is a 40 yr home. He advised that our house if full of mold and we have to completly tear apart our roof and attic and part of our basement and just for good measure our exterior walls. We are starting to talk to contractors and this is all new to me and really scary.I had left my hubby to hire an inspector when we first moved it and I don't think it was done. There is no bathroom vent and the stove exhaust does not vent to the outside. Also my hubby wants to change to electric heat and I want to stick with the oil. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated as well.
Thanks
