A new fridge will use less energy and cause less worry. But if you need to clean it, remember to clean the seals all around the edges; they get a lot of crud stuck in the folds. You may be able to replace them also if they are in rough shape.
All the shelves and drawers need to come all the way out so you can get in every corner. Also take the drip pan out from underneath, but be careful! It could be really nasty! If that thing has sediment stuck on it, you'll need Lime Away or CLR to get the scale off of it.
Ammonia is a good germ killer; if it can't cut out the smell, you might need a new fridge.

Ok first things first.
Keep the frig and freezer doors ajar. tape some carboard to the opening to keep them from accidentally shuting. That will help keep them dried out. Now put a bowl of cornstarch in both the frig and freezer to help absorb the moisture.
You'll need to use a sponge, easier to grasp. Use straight hydrogen peroxide add a little baking soda, it will fizzle (let it settle down) and wipe on. Let that set several hours and reapply if necessary. Get under the rubber gaskets too.
Peroxide will keep working so give it time.
After the mold is gone, you may need to wipe down the frig to remove any residue left by the baking soda. The soda will help deordorize the frig,

Be sure you don't have any broccoli or cauliflower in your fridge... they will give off a hellatious gas when they get old...
Liquid Downy cuts smells too, add to some water and wipe down the fridge.
And put a box of baking soda in there.

Did you do the vinegar, baking soda wipe down ?
After that put a box of baking soda in there (open) . . .
If still stinky after a few days, I'd go for a new fridge.

Throw away everything in your fridge, turn it off, open it up and let it air out overnight. You could also consider opening a fresh box of baking powder and placing inside. Best of luck to you.
