What can I safely use to clean marble and sandstone headstones at the cemetary? I do not want to scratch or damage the stone?
Also, is there a special polish I can use to help restore the headstones to their original luster?

you put ribbon in criss-crosses on your wall and you can slip papers and such into them to help you store.

I dont have these stains on my clothes before i wash them. But i have noticed that after i wash my clothes and dry them, these stains are on them that look like grease stains. Could they be coming from the washer or dryer somehwere? If so, how do i fix the problem and where is it coming from? I have been using the same detergent for years, and this problem just started, so i dont think its the detergent.

I just found out that our business entered the parade, and I have no clue where to begin on making this. It's going to be a night parade, so it will have to have plenty of Christmas lighting. It will have to be very basic and inexpensive, as there's not much time (a few days) to make it, and we are a new store with a very limited budget. The store is a cash advance business. Please help!! Thanks!!

The toilet has gross brown build up near the drain, scrubbing with cleanser and a brush does nothing. I tried a pumice stone and it got a little bit off, but most is still there. Thanks!

In my bedroom, I have the bed almost centered on the wall but more to the right a little bit (to allow for a bookcase which I have in the corner to fit). I'm hanging one wall decor piece (a wrought iron candelabra) on the wall with a wall sconce on each side of it (so 3 pieces on the wall). My question is: Do I center these with the my bed, or with the wall? Thanks. :)

Here's the deal...a couple years ago I had my garage insulated with the blown-in type stuff...as a result there were holes in the wall about every 4 feet. I used some mesh tape to cover them and then used joint compound on top of the tape. I plan on using a spray texture to retexture the entire garage to hide the holes. Questions:
1) Do I need to use a primer before spraying on the texture (like over the repaired areas)?
2) After spraying on the texture do I need to use a primer or can I just use a latex paint and go for it?
3) I also plan on spraying the ceiling as some of the "popcorn" is coming loose....can I spray over the old stuff?
Keep in mind this IS a garage but I would like it to look decent as I run a small business out of my garage and have people over to look at products every few weeks. Thanks a TON in advance!

out of the ground with a cap on it. The cap is missing a chunk of it but it still screws on but when it rains water and stuff can get in it. What is this thing, and does it matter that it's broken, and if so, where do I get a new cap for it and what is the cap called? Thanks.

I am short on funds and am trying to insulate my home as inexpensively as possible. Can I insulate my attic with newspapers, then liberally sprinkle baking soda over the papers to act as a flame retardant? If yes, how thick should the newspapers be for best results? A neighbor suggested putting the newspapers down and then stapling plastic sheeting over the papers to act as a moisture barrier. I doubt his knowledge on the subject. Can someone enlighten me?
