The top part of my toilet (the bit with the ball cock in) is leaking. Is it easy to replace? Only I'm renting and hate workmen! Can I replace the top bit without needing an entire new loo?

I have seen several tables that I really like the way the tops are made. The tops are made with rectangular pieces of wood that are somehow joined together like bricks would be staggered. I am a novice woodworker and building some furniture I would like to try this on? Does anyone know what this kinda top is called and what method of joints it uses. Also if you do know all of this, is joining one in this manner a hard task?

Anyone know of a great (not just good) product that cleans copper pans? Has anyone tried 'Grease Bullet'? Is it any good. I like the idea of soaking my pans in the water without having to scrub them. I've used a few products out there, just that I am so tired of having to scrub and miss spots. Any ideas? Thanks!

I really hate housework. I mean I am very thankful that I do have my own home, but the cleaning is horrid and a losing battle. I don't feel its laziness but rather dread that keeps me from doing it. I keep the area where the baby stays clean. but I hate laundry and dishes and every other aspect of cleaning. Any sugestions or help you can give will be much appriciated.

My owner is currently in the process of installing a heater, but my house is freezing cold. I am thinking of trying to heat it up with an oven. Does anyone know if that's possible and would it be dangerous?

Hi there,

I am looking for a company who manufactures and or sells Portable Power Outlets. You know, like the power outlets in our walls at home.

Instead, this one can be used indoors/outdoors and be Battery Operated. Like a 3 Prong outlet, but not attached to a wall, uses batteries instead.

Are these even on the market? I have been looking online and have found nothing.

Thank you......... :-)

They are plastic toys like action figures, spaceships, toy soldiers and dolls and boardgames. Been sitting in water and grime for months. Would a garbage company recycle that kind of plastic or just dump them in a landfill? Should I just burn them?

my new house had new bermuda grass sod installed 2 weeks ago. Should I water it now...or is it dormant now? It currently looks like new sod in separate pieces that haven't fused together yet. I assume I should water it but any thoughts?

very large open areas with 2 air conditioner units, but we really only want & need to run 1 at a time for cost effectiveness but because we cannot close off one of the areas, the air conditioners cannot work effectively - we don't own the home - we are renting the property

My ex wife put them in the throw pile. The garbage company picked them up last week. Do you think I can still rescue them?

We just moved in and we're both fireplace idiots. There's a gas pipe in the back of the fireplace and it works, but we don't know what to do next. Can we burn regular logs in there? Will the house blow up? lol Do we have to use gas logs?

Know of any websites where we can learn how to use it? Thanks a lot.
